Shinchon Arts Space (SCAS)
A vibrant, new cultural and artistic community, Shinchon Arts Space(SCAS) opened in June 2018. It supports and grows with young artists as they pursue their creative endeavors. This multipurpose cultural space features a small 80 seat theater, creative planning studio, small gallery, community café, and more, serving as a base camp where artists can gather to connect and collaborate with one another.
As an artistic platform, SCAS supports the process of creating, rehearsing, and presenting new artwork so that young artists themselves can expand and develop their full potentials. Taking into consideration the nature of the Sinchon area, SCAS provides opportunities that enable artists to create without limitations and produce interdisciplinary work to share with audiences, and to support artists at every stage of their development.
