ScatterTones is a student-run all-gender a cappella group at UCLA. Founded in 2002, the group performs regularly on campus as well as in the Greater Los Angeles area. In addition, they have opened for Pentatonix in concert multiple times, sung in the White House, and have been featured on KTLA Channel 5 Morning news, National Public Radios program, "Says You," and as backup singers for Taylor Swift. Performing a variety of music from pop, jazz, R&B, and rock styles using the melodies and rhythms of their own voices and beatboxer, they also compete annually in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCAs), as well as UCLA's prestigious talent competition, Spring Sing.
