World Rhythm Apprentice
You are listening to my education. As a child learning the violin, I was constantly told that I did not understand rhythm. So as an adult I have made it my mission to try to understand rhythm better. I absolutely adore world music, so I have set out to identify and learn as many rhythms from around the world as possible. This channel is the result of this study and practice.
I also enjoy learning about the vibrant cultures and traditions from which these rhythms originate, which greatly enhances my musical understanding of each rhythm. I do not claim mastery of these rhythms or music styles - I am just an apprentice, but I hope you will enjoy exploring rhythms around the world with me.
