Andreas Raad is a Norwegian composer of contemporary orchestral music. He is self taught both on arranging and harmony and has developed his very own unique way of engaging the composition process. He spends most of his waking hours in a windowless studio cave in his small apartment in the industrial suburbs of Bergen, Norway. Here he sits glued to his off-grid computer day and night and produces his art, one œuvre at a time. No one has ever been allowed into this space to witness the process in detail, but about once a week he will come out to announce to the world that he has produced a new piece.
