Hi, I'm William, and I love chess! I’m the current (and 146th annual!) NY State Champion, and aspiring future World Chessboxing Champion.

Most importantly, I am the Gambit Man — playing exciting, educational, and aggressive chess. I am really passionate about innovating opening theory, especially gambits. I come up with brand new lines for you to play and offer full repertoires and example games of my own — many openings have been added to official databases.
