Politics and Religion, we do discuss!
Politics, from the Greek Pólis, concerns everything that is related to city/state, community, collectivity. Therefore, everything that refers to individual and collective urban life.
Religion, in turn, derives from the Latin religare, relegere, rereading or reconnecting, interpreting, taking up what was left behind.
In this way, politics and religion are directly connected, so much so that the State is secular, thus defending the free manifestation of the creed in the individuality of each citizen, or social group.
If politics often walks in the field of immorality and injustice, religion presupposes the maximum degree of what is moral and just.
“Only fools believe that politics and religion cannot be discussed. That’s why thieves continue to be in power and false prophets continue to preach.” Charles Spurgeon
My religion is Christ my Lord, who said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14
