Greetings, fellow traveler of the internet! I make videos and films revolving around trains, mostly talking ones...
I am aware that my videos aren't perfect. All constructive criticism is more than welcome.
Please do not ask me to accept a friend request on Roblox, Discord, etc. I only accept friend requests to people who I either know or that I've worked with. That being said, anyone is welcome to join games when I share Roblox server links during livestreams!
Enjoy my content ;)

Hello guys, I'm very excited to announce that 'Old Iron' is almost finished! The process of editing (and the countless other sub-processes) is coming to an end. All I have left to do is go through and polish this thing, then watch it completely to give it an audio pass. I honestly don't know if this is my best film, but it's certainly one of my favorites!
Now, there have been quite a few delays since I first announced this project. When I set my initial release goal at September, I sorta knew it would take a lot longer than that, I just didn't know it would take THIS much time to finish.
That being said, it is with great pleasure to announce the somewhat-official release date: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13TH, at 10:30am PST. If I can make this date, then it will be a truly complete day, as I'm going to see 'One Battle After Another' (2025) in 70mm so that's fun!
Again, there's always the slim chance I may have to delay it yet again, and knowing this project, I wouldn't be surprised. I don't think a film of mine has been set back so many times lol. However, I genuinely don't have a lot of stuff left to do. If I need to push it back, then I will, and you'll hear from me. I'd rather wait to make this film the best it can be. This has truly been one of the most difficult and complicated projects I've done (despite having only six scenes), and I would like to thank you all for your patience. It's been a crazy six months of "development hell" and production, but we're almost there. Again, there's always the chance I'll have to delay it again (with semester finals and Christmas approaching), but if not, I'll see you guys on Saturday!

Been a good last couple weeks. The Criterion™ sale at "Barnes & Noble" is happening right now, and I got a title I'd been on the hunt for [that one being 'Flow']
oh also filming for 'Old Iron' is FINALLY COMPLETE!! It's been a tumultuous process with countless delays and setbacks. Now it's all up to the editing, which shouldn't be terribly difficult. It's likely that I'll wanna go back to film one or two more shots, but I'm soooo glad to finally have everything I need to fully piece this thing together.
Now, I'm sure you're all wondering: what is the release date? I was thinking of dropping one, but I'm still a bit hesitant. I don't want to get everyone excited, and then at the last minute we face another pushback. I will be able to confidently set one when I'm nearing the end of the editing process. That being said, I still think I can finish this by the end of November, there's not an insane amount of work left. If for some reason it takes longer than expected, then December is the absolute latest it will come out. I still have my eyes set on November though! I want to thank you all for being so very patient! This thing will see the light of day soon, don't worry

UPDATE on 'Old Iron'
Production is going pretty smoothly, but also very slowly. I'm still trying to coordinate times for filming the climax, so for now, I've begun editing what I've shot so far. If you haven't guessed already, this thing won't be finished in the "early October" release window I initially planned. The main thing is getting filming done, then production should speed up a bit with editing. I would push the movie to later this October, but this isn't necessarily a Halloween video. For that reason, and to give myself plenty of time, I will be delaying the release of 'Old Iron' to SOMETIME in NOVEMBER. I won't set a specific date and premiere time until a good portion of the editing is complete. I know this isn't exactly the news y'all wanted to hear, but this will be worth it! Thank you for the patience and have a good one.
Here are some screenshots of a couple thing's we filmed to show I've actually been working on this lol

Tomorrow, I will be livestreaming an attempt (and hopefully just one) at beating all 12 chapters of 'Piggy: Book 1' within an hour. It's going to be a wild ride! Set your watches and I'll see you there

Hey it's me again
I guess it's now time for yet another recap on where I've been, this unplanned hiatus being my longest one to date. And truth be told, it's nothing more than just burnout. We've all had in at some point. For me, it would still come up even after the schoolyear had finished (people who also have anxiety can attest). That being said, I've been using my free time in ways that are pretty fulfilling to me. I've been spending lots of time hanging with friends and seen quite a few movies. Right next to my profile is a link to my Letterboxd profile, which I've been very active on. I do apologize for the clunky plug but if you want to see stuff from me like film reviews, I haven't done much here on Youtube so there's that option.
For close to a year, I've been trying different things on this channel, most being a gratifying experience, plus a grueling one (looking at that dang video essay). After experiencing continued burnout, I finally decided to return back to my "old roots", and around July I began developing my next TTTE film. This one being an adaptation of 'Old Iron'. As of today, shooting has officially begun, and I'm really excited to get this thing made. I can safely say this is one of, if not, my most ambitious project yet. I have quite a lot of fun stuff planned for this, and I can't wait for yall to see it!
As for a release date, you probably expected this but I'm not entirely sure of a specific premiere day. I'm hoping to get this thing completely filmed within a month as I find that to be the most tedious step. If everything goes to plan (im not counting on it), I can hope to finish this around LATE SEPTEMBER to EARLY OCTOBER 🤞
aaaand that's everything I wanted to say here. If there's any questions, drop them down in the comments. I'm very happy to be back making things, and I'll see you guys soon!

Not that long ago, I found out the creator of "Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends", Britt Alcroft, passed away yesterday.
Thomas has been such a huge part of my life as is with many others. It helped spark a love for filmmaking in me. It led me to meeting some of the best friends I've ever had who also shared the same passion and love for the show as I did. It honestly breaks my heart that I'll never be able to thank her for the creation of this show we all hold so dearly.
Rest in Peace

{I can't believe I haven't been to my community tab in three months wow} Greetings, everyone! I hope the holidays have been treating you all well. I think it's about time I give an update to what's been going on in the last few months or so.
Since my video on "The Train" and the fiasco that came with it, I've been quite burnt out. I have also been putting a good chunk of my time into projects for a higher-level film class which I'm very grateful to be in! I've learned a lot of about different cameras, schedule coordination, as well as just getting a ton of experience.
That being said, the time I spend working on stuff for Youtube is pretty hit-or-miss (with homework and all). Every so often, I have a good chunk of time, but that is usually my down-time where I do what I want whether it be watching movies, calling with friends, playing games, etc. That's not to say that TTTE content creation isn't fun, it totally still is, but I just find myself expending that free time on other things besides the latter these days. All of this on to of working on a short film for a festival in 2025, which is going very well!
Speaking of films, I joined Letterboxd a few months ago so if there are any fellow movie snobs searching for opinions to invalidate, here you go 🙃: letterboxd.com/DonDoug/
So, what's happening right now? Well, I don't exactly have any plans for future 'Thomas' adaptations and films, but that will likely change within the coming months. I am however working on a small video on another movie I saw this year that should be coming out (hopefully) on December 10th, the 62nd anniversary of it's premeire. If you can guess what it is, sound off below. I also plan to record an audio commentary on "Rails of Ice" fairly soon. I really enjoyed working on "Gordon Goes On" as a small little step back into videomaking so I may adapt TheBuriedTruck's other RWS shorts.
And yeah I think that's all I wanted to say. I know I seem to have stepped away from making stuff on this channel, but I just haven't had as much time; it's as simple as that. Thanks for reading my TedTalk, and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
