My music and poetry is "Soulcialist Art", art that offers experiences of connection with our deepest selves, others, the cosmos, and the mystery of the divine.
Art that:
+is honest about human grief, pain, love, joy, brutality, addiction
+validates the humanity of others, and helps to foster empathy and compassion while being honest about our profound brokenness
+creates compassion for all beings, and all things...
+flows from personal experiences with the Mystery-Divine, and helps to offer experiences of the "Other" more deeply (however you understand that)
I am a son, sibling, life partner, father and grandfather; an interspiritual Jesus follower; a contemplative; musician; poet; meditator; a student of sacred texts; translator; podcaster; dweller in California; Pennsylvania; Uganda; Pakistan; Bangladesh; backpacker; lover of the Sierra Nevadas.
