UNIT1 TV
UNIT1 is the Studio of Nanu Nanu (us) where we record, mix, rehears, film, photograph, jam, pretty much everything to do with the band or either of our solo projects (iMirrorman/Laura Sheeran) It's a great little studio!
In Jan 2014 we built a stage there and painted the space as a black box so we could do full production rehearsals with new lighting we got in for the Nanu Nanu rig. When we finished the new studio set up we realised the space would be perfect for filming and recording live performances, so we planned a series of live sessions with some of our favourite acts. It has been a great success so far and we can't wait to see how the project develops.
Our aim is to make live videos that have a great atmosphere and sound really good. Since UNIT1 is a fully functional recording studio, we can multitrack the performances with a mixture of ambient room mics and direct signal to retain the atmosphere of the shoot but also allow us to mix the tracks to the highest standard.
