...a soul singer among the greats - Alana Hil. From studying yoga in India, to living in a teepee, she has a dynamic & creative upbringing. She generated millions of streams and attracted the likes of GRAMMY® Award winner Printz Board [Black Eyed Peas, Mark Ronson].
“When you listen to me, I want you to feel inspired to be your full truest self,” she exclaims. “I hope you feel the gritty, raw earth in the music.”
She grew up in Kentucky, and immersed in the culture of a black gospel church in Cincinnati where The choir embraced her talent. At the same time, she listened to everyone from Dolly Parton, Luther Vandross, to Janis Joplin, Ella Fitzgerald, and Jay Z.
“More than ever, I realized music could be a tool for healing,” she notes.
Now, she is releasing her best work to date - “Diaries Of A Common Woman” - where she leans back into her roots, with elements of soul, blues, country and R&B. All the while, bringing light to her mental health struggles, specifically BPD.
