Mungai wa Njeri, professionally known as DJ P1T, is a Kenyan-Australian artist, music producer, and DJ based in Melbourne. He is the son of legendary Kikuyu Benga musician Musaimo wa Njeri, and proudly continues the musical legacy through his own modern sound, blending Afro-fusion, Afrobeat, Afrohouse, Afro Dancehall, Reggae, Amapiano With Kikuyu cultural storytelling.

Since launching his career in 2011as a DJ , he has performed at clubs and events across Australia, drawing deep inspiration from his Kikuyu roots and life journey between Kenya and Australia.

In addition to music, Mungai wa Njeri is a skilled designer and artisan. He is the founder of Mūrūthĩ Wear (formerly Rasta Lion Wear), a handmade fashion brand he started in 2001. Specialising in culturally inspired clothing, jewellery, and accessories, his creations are sold online, at festivals, and during live gigs—highlighting his creative expression beyond the stage.
