Impala Terminals designs, implements, owns and operates logistics chains with a focus on the safe, economic and reliable transfer of cargoes from inland sites of production and consumption to deep-sea ports for onward distribution to customers.Impala Terminals has made substantial investments focused around ports, warehousing and logistics assets, primarily in Africa and Latin America.
These include the multi-modal transportation system in Colombia to handle crude oil/products, containers and general cargo along the Magdalena river; investment in the Iron ore export facility Porto Sudeste, Brazil; Impala’s flagship terminal for metals concentrates in Callao,Peru linked directly by a 3km conveyor belt to a dedicated berth and its state-of-the-art terminal for coal in Burnside, Louisiana. In Africa, Impala has invested in terminals throughout the Copperbelt, has direct operations in the port of Dar es Salaam,Tanzania and can export from all the key regional ports in Sub Saharan Africa.
