Welcome to my youtube channel! My name is Iris and in 2012, I won the Miss Plussize Fashion competition in The Netherlands. By winning this title, I was allowed to call myself: Miss Plus Size Holland for a whole year. A year in which I was a symbol for the well dressed, happy and self-accepting ‘full figured’ women in The Netherlands. A title I am very proud of and which I have used as a platform to start off my mission.

On my website (www.missiris.nl), I blog about everything from which I think (and hope) may inspire people. In a fierce, serious, but also in a humoristic way, I try to trigger people to think about things. What do I want to achieve by doing this?, purely to carry out the word of acceptance and tolerance in our society and to help others to develop their self-esteem.

Next to this, I am a plus size fashionista who loves fashion!!!
