The extended cut of my next video on the history of the Indian left and the naxalite movement, is up on Patreon for tier 1 Tusker subs. It's been edited down from around 6 hours long to 2 hours. Thank you all for your continued support, it is greatly appreciated in these trying times!
Due to the nature of the topic, which is quite frankly fraught with danger, this video has taken a while to release. In the video, I discuss corporate interest and extraction at length, and naturally, the history of the Indian left. You cannot talk about the Indian left, without talking about the naxalite movement.
The youtube friendly version will be up this weekend, ideally tomorrow, once I've taken care of anything that might cause the video's reach to be limited or blocked, or even my own a$$ to be cooked lol.
For now, if you'd like to support the channel and become a member to check out the extended version, here's the link - www.patreon.com/posts/andor-irl-maoism-136448451?u…

My watchers in the west - how many of you heard about the 4 indian men being stripped naked, beaten and stabbed, in 4 days in Ireland?
How many folks in Canada heard about the Indian man stabbed in Rockland by his racist neighbour? (I've posted some of the ridiculous liberal headlines white washing the hate-killing)
I don't think people really understand what we mean when we say hatred towards brown folks is normalised, and i don't just mean Indians, it's actually anyone who looks vaguely Indian and dark brown. Most people in the west can't tell the difference, they just say "Indians", the education here about cultures from the subcontinent is frankly non existent, and the media hides the atrocities.
I touch grass ALOT and work so I overhear white folks and non white folks who've inheritted the white supremacist xenophobia to fit in discuss brown people (specifically using the term Indian) and whether or not we deserve to be anywhere all the time in "polite" public conversations. Just yesterday I was at a motorcycle shop getting oil for my bike and this dude behind me felt compelled to start yapping with the other cashier about "oh yknow how these middleeasterns are, NO ENGLIIISH" *jazz hands*". It's like talking about the weather for many white dudes in Canada.
0 empathy, this is how dehumanisation works. Brown people are convenient casual scapegoats for everything right now, your rent, your uber not coming in on time, your local mechanic shop providing bad service because they have Indians and are therefore "uncanadian", your shitty Tim Hortons being shit like it always has.
No one seems to be asking these questions though - "who owns the building and who's the actual landlord?", "ummm UBER?", "why do I have separate higher standards when it's a brown mechanic, but when it's a white mechanic it's brews, talking about women, jerryrigging parts because that's cool casual and masculine yeeeeah", "Why is Time Hortons owned by some Brazilian American investment firm?"
It's easier to point to people you've been taught to hate as genetically inferior, culturally inferior, dirty etc because atleast there are people you think are worse off than you.
This is not a new thing by any means, when I grew up in my town of Fort Kochi my neighbourhood would discuss how one of our folks got stabbed in Australia or another person getting racially harrassed in the UK, so I don't want any of these fkin ignorant comments saying "OH NOOW YOU CARE ABOUT RACISM, INDIANS ARE SO RACIST TO THEMSELVES". Like, seriously f off, I hear this from so called "progressives" and other Indians too, that assertion itself is a racist trope, that is simply a justification for further racism, to keep the cycle going. It certainly doesn't take into account the caste or ethnic group someone might be a part of, and it doesn't matter because people can't fkin tell the difference. I don't care if its a brahmin or kshatriya being racially harrassed or stabbed, it's still wrong, be morally consistent.
I don't think people understand the gravity of the current times for brown people everywhere. With the obvious rise of hindutva fascism and the Indian gov's alignment with fascist forces - combined with Western countries' ridiculous level of education about the east, and the accepted dehumanisation - regular brown people everywhere who are trying to make a living and survive are the workers who feel the need to look over their shoulders everywhere, including in India.
Anyway, I'm gonna stay in shape, fists ready, I suggest you join a group and raise your voices too. IF YOU SEE RACISM AROUND YOU, CALL IT OUT, NO MATTER WHO ITS DIRECTED AT. IF YOUR FRIEND STRIKES UP AN INTELLECTUAL DEBATE ABOUT WHETHER IMMIGRANTS ARE GOOD OR BAD TELL THEM TO F OFF.

Was just at a Greenday concert in Ottawa, but had to leave early. Ottawa should be ashamed of how racist that crowd was. Had white men (old and young) be racist, mysoginist, transphobic all around me when The Linda Lindas were playing before Greenday.
I've been to many gigs, and even played many underground gigs in the dingiest of settings, with the drunkest of folks, but I've never seen this level of open racism and bigotry from unrelated little groups of friends. Being drunk doesn't make you a racist, or a mysoginist folks that's just an excuse.
While the Linda Lindas were playing two white dudes in front of me were literally laughing and talking about why one of the members weren't singing in chinese and why these "little girls" were on stage etc. One of them shoved me as well lol.
After the band was done, some organisers came up and thanked the crowd etc just doing their jobs, and the speaker was Indian.
Immediately dudes around me were like "booo", "nice ass", "you're Indian".
Then ofcourse literally behind me one of the white boys began a debate with his other white buddy on why he thinks indians and all immigrants are bad for canada actually and make everything worse etc etc and then one of them crushed a beer can and it flew into an older lady's leg, bruising her. They just laughed it off, ironic
It was so gross. Then another dude tried to actually trip me as I walked so I had to shove him and tell him to f off. White people around him though, lips zipped, I knew none of them would stand up for me if something did happen, some of them would've taken the opportunity.
Anyone who's been to a concert or gig in India, know that if you're a tourist or foreigner, and you show up to a gig, you're treated well and people actually love when folks travel to India to watch Lamb of God, Metallica, or even frisking Coldplay or something. I've never heard of open harassing and physical abuse targeting white people at concerts in India, or the middle east. Its not a thing.
Anyway, check out the Linda Lindas they were sick. They closed out with the song - Racist Sexist Boys, it was so appropriate I don't know if they even realized it haha.
Anyway see ya *Charlie voice

I'm literally about to finish editing my 2.5 hour video on the history of Naxalism and the Maoist movement in India, and lo and behold Maharashtra dives nose first into the shitter by passing a "security" bill aimed at curbing so called urban maoists lol.
India already abuses the UAPA to jail journos and leftists, while labeling them as maoists and terrorists, when all they've done is speak up for Indian citizens against the BJP's fascist actions. Rona Wilson and the BK16 come to mind.
Indian Red scare is in full effect and it seems folks are willing to continue to sleepwalk into the depths, giving away their freedoms like its cheap. I cannot fathom the minds of folks in my comments and in real life who still think India isn't Fascist yet.
I have savarna libs who don't even live in India or know who the president is still jumping to India's defence in my DMs and calling me an "extremist" for calling for ceasefires and peace. Indian nationalism is a hell of a drug yo.
Make no mistake, the norm right now for many Indian normies everywhere is to allow the continued oppression of kashmir and look the other way when it comes to political assassinations overseas and keep quiet about indigenous people being slaughtered to have their land given to some billionaire in London. Not to mention be okay with India infecting journalists' phones and devices with israeli spyware.
These moves by the government will continue to make it so that literally any dissent will get you labelled a Maoist and jailed without evidence or a warrant.
Anyway, I'll cover the runway we've laid for ourselves in the next video

If Zohran were an Elden Ring character, he'd be a no armor wearing parry build with the way he's countering these CNN questions.
CNN - U NO LIKE CAPITALISM? WUT THIS DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM?
Z - Nope, deploy MLK quote to mind f the libs, and re-direct to policy
CNN - BUT IF MILLIONAIRES LEAVE HOW U GET MANEY 🤑 FOR FREE BUS?
Z -Stats say they'll stay anyway. Next
CNN - BILL AIPACMAN, HE HAS BIG MUNEY, HE COMPLAIN ABOUT U. WILL U MEET HIM
Z - yes, and I'll tell Bill that he's a dweeb for trying to dismantle DEI, and not only is it morally wrong, it directly impacts the bottom line for many businesses, he should know that being a businessman. L ackman
Let me know when Zohran drops the leftist speedrun guide for CNN boss battle

Part of why I love my day job in coffee. On my roasting shifts, I've been roasting coffee grown by the Zapatistas in Chiapas, the indigenous resistance at war with the Mexican government. Their coffee has been fire ✌🏾🔥. They do not accept any financial support from the Mexican government, and coffee is one of their main sources of income. It basically sells itself on account of how delicious it is though.
Speaking of indigenous resistance movements at war with their government, my video on the history of the Maoist Naxalite movement in India is sitting at around 20k words. I've got a round of editing to do, and then I'll be filming it. I've thoroughly enjoyed writing it and reading about it in books and papers. Stay tuned 🤘🏾

Here is a great report by The Caravan on the persecution of Christians in Uttar Pradesh.
This is not just about religion, it is caste and class that operates underneath the systematic persecution of minorities in India. I am personally an atheist, but I recognize that religious identity, especially for dalit and adivasi communities is far more complex in India, and in many cases is a rejection of a brahminical caste system that deems people not human from birth. This can be a bit of a blind spot for the enlightened centrists and atheists watching this.
The people who will and have kept silent and force others to do the same when it comes to talking about the realities of India, are typically privileged caste people who cannot deal with the stark differences and contradictions within our societies abroad and at home.
Some will threaten other Indians with social ostracization (in privileged liberal *apolitical* circles in diaspora and at home), others will use physical violence especially if you are poor within India. It is all to preserve a privileged caste, oppressive vision for the future of India
