The Hidayats
Ria Paramita is an Indonesian embroidery artist living in Tokyo, Japan. She attended the Institute Technology of Bandung, Indonesia and received her Bachelor degree in Textile Design.
She explores embroidery as a means of filling her spare time and soon discovered that apart from the newfound passion it becomes more than a hobby but a way to channel her confidence, ambitions, and aspirations.
Ria likes to combine several techniques such as embroidery, crochet, and sewing as well embellishing it with materials such as plastic pears, tassel, pom-pom, and lace to create textures in her creations.
She sells her artwork on Etsy and made some embroidery kits for US-based craft media company, Leisure Arts.
