Hey everyone! I’m a Canadian nurse (LPN) who wants to share my journey in healthcare. I’m a healthcare advocate thriving to teach and raise awareness about the struggles we face in healthcare as providers as well as answer some common questions I find prominent in this industry.

A little bit about me: I live in British Columbia and have been nursing for 2 years. Before I became an LPN I was a Care Aide for several years. I retrained as an LPN when I was injured on the job in 2017. In my years as a Care Aide; I served as a union steward as chief steward, I had the honour of being the Vice Chair of my local, I served on the labour management committee, the JOHSC (Joint occupational health and safety committee), the HEU PWD (people with disabilities) committee as well as a very short time with the PWD CUPE committee.

I’m coming up on 15 years in healthcare. I love what I do and I’m here for a reason. I work as a floor medical / surgical nurse.
