The Ateneo Resource Center for Local Governance (ARCLG) was established in June 1992 to carry out programs that would support the Local Government Units' (LGU) efforts at the productive implementation of the government's decentralization program.

Our Mission

To contribute to the improvement of the people in Mindanao through: 1) The development of efficiently and effectively managed LGUs, GOs and NGOs which readily respond to the needs of their clientele; 2) The development of an enlightened, self-determined, and politically mature citizenry who actively participate in local governance; and 3) Advocacy for and promotion of a sound ecologically-balanced environment.
