Thursday Morning Science (TMS), is a group of young and experienced researchers, students and enthusiasts from the University of L'Aquila. It originated in the Department of Biotechnological and Applied Clinical Sciences, with the aim of disseminating top level science and helping with learning scientific English. We hold weekly meeting in the Coppito 2 building every Thursday, discussing different aspects of biomedical and non-biomedical research, including bioinformatics, clinical trials, organic chemistry, robotics, cell biology, genetics, particle physics and much more. The TMS group is open to whoever wants to know more about “real life” science, whatever the field, and wants to improve their ability to speak and understand scientific English. If you want to join our group, first join the mailing list! We will send you weekly newsletters to inform you about the whereabouts and topic of the upcoming weekly meeting. Hope to see you on Thursday(s)!
