The GPU Hierarchy

I’m a PC hardware enthusiast and lifelong gamer, having cut my teeth on the C-64 back in the day before graduating to PCs with a 286 in the late 80s. Things escalated from there to a 386, 486, Pentiums, Athlons, and more. I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 9800X3D for my main tests, though there's a lot of older hardware (i9-13900K, i9-9900K, and even an i7-4770K gathering dust in a corner.)

I’ve owned a variety of graphics cards, starting with the original 3dfx Voodoo and old Diamond Stealth cards in the 90s. (And yeah, I even used Super VGA, VGA, EGA, and MCGA way back when.) I also bought a Riva TNT2 when it was available, and many, MANY Nvidia and AMD GPUs in the intervening years. These days, I’m a huge fan of modern GPUs and use them both for gaming and AI content.

I have started running gaming benchmarks on a collection of recent GPUs using mostly new game releases. That’s the primary focus of my channel, so if there’s any specific game or GPU you’d like me to test, send me a note!
