Hello Everyone!
My name is Mollie Serena and I am a visual artist based in the Lower East Side of NYC! On June 18, 2021, I was fortunate enough to create my first public art installation, 'Lighting The Edge' for NYCHA with The Design Trust for Public Space. It took me over 6 months from proposal to approval to the creation and encompasses over 350+ pieces of plexiglass that now surrounds a fence in the NYCHA Community for summer 2021. During the process, I recorded most of the plexi that was peeled for your enjoyment!
I am coming back in 2024 with more peels! In addition, I will be adding finished plexi art sculptures, light art, and public art installations/interventions in NYC.
