Hi
A warm welcome to my channel ..
The chosen instrument for my music education was a huge a accordion... I was so little I couldn't reach the bass notes at the bottom and the top kept hitting my chin... I hated it... used to hide away when the teacher was due.
I have played Sri Lankan drums, bamboo flutes, and a few other instruments. all by ear.
Got interested in keyboards because I later found that computers and keyboards can "speak" to each other. It was quite a task in my early days, in the mid 1980's, with so little information and expertise around. I had an Amiga 500 home computer on which I sequenced music with a Yamaha PSR36, a Yamaha EMR-1 (drums) and a Yamaha EMT-10 sound expander.

My setup and technique is still the same, although individual components have changed......

I now try to recreate some of the songs that were played as I was growing up...
This is now one of my hobbies and I love creating the known tunes the way I remember them with my own style.
