It is often a topic with my fishing friends that the manufacturers provide very little and sometimes untrue information about fishing tools and accessories that are now supported by serious technological developments.
What exactly do I mean?
When choosing fishing line, diameter and tensile strength immediately come to mind. This is no accident, as these data are the most striking. Today, in the case of well-known manufacturers, these data are most likely correct. However, there is no information about the exact conditions under which these results were achieved. I am thinking here of whether, for example, the result of a knotted or straight line test is indicated. Dry or wet line may have been used during the tests. Furthermore, it would be very important to know the partial results giving the average value of the fishing line test. After all, they show what percentage of deviation there was during the given test.
