"Action, Reasoning & Time: That's ART to me." Yanque Yip

Yanque Yip developed his visual arts skills academically at Knox College High where he participated and won poster competitions, did his first murals including a mural to celebrate the founders of the school, one for peace day and one that was unveiled at his graduation.

He started “YanqueYipART”, his visual arts business fresh out of high school. He has collaborated with other artists to stage exhibitions, carry out commercial art projects & work on Jamaica’s largest mural.

In addition to designing and creating large murals, Yanque enjoys creating canvas paintings that are mostly surrealistic and expressive of the “higher self”. The subject of these canvas paintings usually stems on the human experience and his/her connection to the macrocosm and the principles of life from a scientific and philosophical perspective. This has a lot to do with his philosophy of "Your Infinite Progression", an abbreviation of his brand "YIP".
