I was fortunate to grow up in a home with 2 cooks. Both of my parents cooked meals, baked treats, hosted large gatherings and shared the love of creating extravagant or simple home-cooked meals. I was also a very picky eater. I remember as a child, I refused all foods other than Ellio’s Frozen Pizza for a year. Yes, a whole year. I tend to be a little stubborn at times.

Thankfully, I screwed up a lot as a child-cook. I ruined Chocolate Chip Cookies. I ruined Pancakes. I burnt Popcorn on the stove. I wish I had gotten all of my failures out of the way, but alas, I still toss the occasional screwup. Much to the disappointment of my family. I learn. I share. I keep trying. I ruined 7+ racks of Smoked Ribs before I got my time / temp down right.

I have picked 20 recipes to share over the coming months. Easy stuff all the way to complicated. I will film the creation of these meals, upload them to YouTube, post about them on Instagram and produce small Reels too.
