Dr. Stephen Laga
Dr. Stephen F. Laga is a highly accomplished Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon with over 40 years of experience. After earning a BS in Physics from Adelphi University and an MD from St. Louis University School of Medicine, he completed his surgery residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center and a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Laga served as Chief of General Surgery at USAF Tinker Hospital, gaining recognition for his dedication. He's held key positions at hospitals like Westlake and Illinois Masonic, and is board-certified in both general and thoracic surgery. Dr. Laga is a member of numerous professional organizations and is currently affiliated with Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri.
