Multidisciplinary Artist

Kay Ibrahim is an artist, producer and filmmaker from Newham, East London.

Working across music and moving image, his work moves between nostalgia and futurism, drawing from memories, places, cultures and experiences collected over the years.

Rooted in electronic music but never confined to one sound, his approach is instinctive, allowing ideas to take shape without feeling the need to define them.

Whether through sound or image, the work is part archive, part experimentation, and part an ongoing attempt to make sense of the people, places and moments that shaped him.

Less concerned with genre, more interested in feeling.
