Ali Mohammadi: Stand-Up & Satire

Ali Mohammadi, also known as AliJan, is a comedian, content creator, and host based in Montreal.

As the owner and resident host of Comedyville Comedy Club, Ali performs stand-up every weekend, mixing crowd work, original characters, and sharp observations for live audiences.

He’s also a digital creator across platforms, producing skits, satire, and short-form comedy seen on Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.

Previously, Ali hosted The AliJan Show, a Farsi-language talk show aired in collaboration with AVA TV, where he interviewed artists, thinkers, and changemakers from the Persian-speaking world. While the show is no longer airing new episodes, its archive remains a cultural time capsule.

Today, Ali continues to blend live performance with online content, bringing laughter from the stage to the screen.
