SWIOTUNA is a regional network dedicated to empowering Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and community fisheries groups across coastal nations in the South West Indian Ocean (SWIO) to advocate for sustainable marine and fisheries governance. With members in countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Madagascar, and Mozambique, SWIOTUNA works to ensure local communities derive more socio-economic benefits from their fisheries resources. Through partnerships with like minded organizations with focuses on capacity building, community enforcement, and improved fisheries management.
