Hi, my name is Anna. Me and my husband Gordon grew up in the interior of Alaska. When we had family move out of state, we decided to go too. But after spending a few years in South Carolina we started to miss our Alaskan life. So we packed up our things and our 4 children, and drove back over 5,000 miles to start over in our home state.
Our new homestead begins with us purchasing some raw Alaskan land on the Kenai Peninsula and taking apart an old house to build our cabin!

First snow on our off-grid homestead! ❄️ October 21st!
It didn't stick, but the kids sure got excited! 😊 We all missed the snow when we lived in South Carolina, so we're really looking forward to a snowy holiday season here in Alaska!

I honestly don't even know what to say! When we started sharing our little homesteading life in South Carolina, I never imagined that so many people would eventually be following along with our family's journey.
And now we're back home in Alaska, working toward building our cabin and figuring things out one step at a time. Somewhere along the way, this little channel has grown to over 32,000 subscribers and our videos have reached 2.4 million views. That is just so hard for me to wrap my head around!

Lots of progress on our off-grid cabin! Here is a sneak peak of the next video.
Gordon and Johnny got the cabin wired in and we have lights! Sheetrock went on, windows installed and more!
Our goal to move in before winter is becoming reality and we are so greatful for all of you guys! You cheered us on, prayed for us and believed in us throught this journey! 🙏❤️
There is plenty more work to be done and we will continue with the videos and updates as usual.
Meanwhile, if you would like to stay in touch on a more regular basis throughout the week, we launched a membership program where I share a lot more of the behind the scenes that I don't normally share to the public. (Pictures and short videos)
