Alaskan raised family moved to the south (South Carolina) to get away from the brutal cold and dark of the dreaded interior Alaskan winters. After 4 years, we are missing the Alaskan lifestyle and recourses that we are used to, and find ourselves missing the lifestyle and wanting to give the same, resilience building experiences for our children.
