Pastel are a 5-piece guitar band signed to Independent Manchester label ‘Spirit of Spike Island’.
Formed and fronted by Manchester Cousins Jack Yates (Vocalist) and James Yates (Rhythm guitar).
Joey Anderson (Lead guitar), Rhys Wheeler (Drums) and Liam O’Shea (Bass).
Drawing on numerous influences from the dance fuelled Manchester bands from the late 80’s and early 90’s such as The Stone Roses, The Charlatans and The Verve to shoegaze legends like Ride and the Brian Jonestown massacre.
Pastel have the swagger and songwriting responsible for their rise through the music scene in spades.
