Jesse Robredo may have lived within our lifetime, but the extraordinary things he did made him a hero in the eyes of many. As Naga City Mayor (1988-1998, 2001-2010) and as Interior and Local Government Secretary (2010-2012), he introduced many reforms that improved the lives not just of Nagueños but also of Filipinos. His participatory approach to governance and simple lifestyle made him stand out among many politicians and has earned him accolades in the international community.
The Museo ni Jesse Robredo pays tribute to his life and his lasting legacy of good governance. It aims to inspire every Filipino to courageously take the mantle of leadership and do what he or she can to make the country better.
