I lost 75 pounds after having my baby by walking and eating in a calorie deficit. No gym, no elimination, no shortcuts. Now I'm training for my second and third marathons.
I didn't run my first mile until I was 25. I lost 60 pounds in 2020, gained every single one and more back during pregnancy, then lost 75 and I've kept it off. I work full time, I have a kid, and I'm a slow runner. That's the whole point. If I can do this, you can too.

Running is obviously something that means a lot to me. A few years ago, I couldn’t run more than 30 seconds without walking and had never in my entire life run a mile without walking.
So to go from that, and weighing over 230 pounds, to weighing 150 pounds and a marathoner?? Training for marathon number 2??
Insane. My first mile took 15:00 minutes, now my mile PR is 7:48???
I truly thought running was off the table for somebody like me. So I’m living proof that if I can do it so can you. here’s how I finally ran that 1st mile and then how I went from now to 26.2, as well as a ton of others tips I wish I knew when I first started running. ❤️
