Counterbalance Collective is an all women film collective based in Toronto with a mission to bring gender balance within the film industry and produce women-led content.
Our debut project "Closed Doors" is premiering December 16th at 6PM EST.
“Closed Doors” is an anthology consisting of 9 short films that were shot back to back in 9 days in late 2019. The anthology follows 9 women home after a party - each film reveals inner turmoils, unexpected twists, and intertwined stories.
