My new single “OTHER SIDE” is finally out. 🌗 It feels like a weight off my chest letting these words out into the world. In full transparency, I’ve been going through what feels like my roughest season of depression these past few months. Ive contemplated giving up on pursuing my health ever getting better, I’ve even thought about making the worst choice of my life. It’s embarrassing to admit, but it’s real. It gets hard living in a box with something you can’t help that terrifies you. All you can do is keep going for the ones you love, and keep your head high. To the ones who still show up for me and listen. Thank you. You continue to save me.

The cassette shirt is a special one to celebrate all of you that have been with me since day 1 of this journey when I started on tiktok under the name “SadSongsOnly”. Grabbing merch is one of the biggest ways to support me as an independent artist trying to provide for my family. So if you can pick something up it would mean everything to us. This was one of the first songs I wrote when I got to LA last year. I moved out west for a lot of reasons, but one big one was to escape rainy Florida weather for my health. With my chronic illness, I get pain and inflammation when a storm rolls through, so naturally California being extremely dry seemed like a good idea. Of course as soon as I moved here California experienced its first hurricane in almost 100 years. 🙄
I was naturally bitter about it, but I made the joke that me and my sad songs brought hurricane season from Florida to LA. 😑 So I wrote this song for some comedic relief with some dear friends of mine @sierradeaton @theartistheather and @coupeaustin .. I hope you all love it like I do 🫶
