This was one of the first songs I wrote when I got to LA last year. I moved out west for a lot of reasons, but one big one was to escape rainy Florida weather for my health. With my chronic illness, I get pain and inflammation when a storm rolls through, so naturally California being extremely dry seemed like a good idea. Of course as soon as I moved here California experienced its first hurricane in almost 100 years. 🙄
I was naturally bitter about it, but I made the joke that me and my sad songs brought hurricane season from Florida to LA. 😑 So I wrote this song for some comedic relief with some dear friends of mine @sierradeaton @theartistheather and @coupeaustin .. I hope you all love it like I do 🫶
