I'm still working on slowly in the background the final video of my Dante's Hell series (I promise). But when it comes to famous texts and authors, who or what would you enjoy me covering? Would you enjoy guides to, general chats, or philosophical explorations or deep dives into subtext? Let me know!

Apologies for the confusion with yesterday's video. For some reason, even though it was scheduled to launch at 4:30pm, it randomly launched itself at midnight. My audience aren't active at that time, so I made it unlisted but it really messed up my metrics.
Yes, I'm bad at this and I don't know how or why I'm doing it either. But for those who wondered where it went: here it is! I wanted to go back into dark history and lore but as this video has done atrociously, I think I'll stick to regular book content from now on. But perhaps my patreons would like some folklore and dark history videos? Let me know!

Oh, what’s this? Is this a sneak peak of the merchandise that I have finally gotten around to designing after fourteen years as a creator? I think it is. Coming early August 2025

Somehow, for some unexplainable reason, my silly little nerdy space on the internet that I started when I was eighteen years old, has reached a quarter of a million subscribers. ✨
I hear you: I don’t know how that’s possible either. But I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for everyone of you who subscribed, my Patreon members, the silent followers and the regulars in my comments. The people who send me video requests on google docs, and the people who listen to my podcast. The people who share my videos and the people who give my videos a like. Thank you, every single one of you. ♥️
📚 It’s actually hilarious that a random girl in her room talking about books and history reached such a milestone. I hope you enjoy the future nerdy videos. I plan on just talking about whatever the hell I want — from the odd random chatty video about nerdy history and literature to video essays on intellectual culture and philosophy.
Thank you all so incredibly much. 📚♥️

âť“ In light of my recent Dionysus video, I thought I'd ask you. Which mythological character do you believe deserves a redemption arc?

CORRECTION: I just recently made a short about Audible not allowing me to listen to my audiobooks whilst offline (despite them being downloaded). After contacting Audible, I was told this was a permanent feature of the latest update. Then, one of you said you could still access your audiobooks offline, so I contacted them again. This time, someone told me the person beforehand had told me this incorrectly: it's just a glitch that Audible has been trying to fix the past few days.
So I'm happy to correct my prior short but I've also attached screenshots of the conversation I had to make it very clear that I wasn't making things up so people can see where the short came from.
You wouldn't think a customer would have to talk to customer service support twice to make sure the last person wasn't telling you a flat out incorrect statement, but I suppose what else do you expect from Amazon?

The internet feels like it's becoming a dead-hell hole of negativity, AI garbage and repetition. I'd like to be part of the solution. So, I hope I can keep making thought-provoking, helpful and entertaining stuff.
I what to specialise on exploring curiosity - but I'm hyperaware that my presence online is a little scatty and not very "branded" like other people.
I love books, academia, literary fiction, ancient history, ancient classics and folklore and mythology.... so yeah, they're a bit of a mix of things that don't all appeal to everyone which I get, but makes it hard for me to really know what will add value to people's lives when the internet is so icky.
What are you curious about? How would you like creators like myself to help make your experience of being online better? I'd love to hear from you

Are people interested in academia on here, like sharing experiences from an academic life and how to start reading certain texts or genres, or just more general bookish or self-reflective discussions? I'd like to talk more about academia and experience studying and researching alongside the other content, but not sure if that would be boring or alienating to those not interested or partaking in academia.
