Blood Moon 2025!

Due to partly cloudy skies, I couldn't record the entire eclipse all at ones, but I was glad to see the eclipse till the end of totality.

The Last photograph was actually taken at the start of the eclipse with my 130mm F5 Newtonian. Clearly the moon doesn't fit in the Field Of View. After 25 minutes of capturing The eclipse was gonna reach totality and just then a few clouds rolled in, after sometime I decided to call it a night thinking I wouldn't be able to see the eclipse. But after nearly 20 minutes I noticed the sky started clearing up again and I saw the moon started turning dark orange with a silver lining at the edge. So this time I took out my Old 3 inch Table top dobsonian which I rarely used and I can tell you that the collimation of the telescope was definetly off but regardless I got a really nice and wide view of the eclipse.

Equipment:
Wide field shots: Orion Funscope 76 (3 inch Dobsonian)
Closeup: Orion Star-seeker IV 130 with alt-az goto

Saturn 2025!

The rings have started to tilt upward!

👉Swiping to the next two photos:
You can see the Moons of saturn visible. The brightest one being titan, And if you actually look closely you see a plus sign or a cross shaped alignment of the moons. Rhea, tethys, enceladus and dione, Its pretty cool to see this alignment!

Saturn - 30th July 2023!

This was shot under poor seeing conditions, hence nothing particularly interesting to look at. perhaps, Just seeing The ring Tilt is a highlight! It was 12 o'clock in midnight when I shot this, We had some pretty cloudy weather, and the sky was still filled with a thin layer of cloud anyway. But As always, I look forward to spend one more night to get better details. swipe right to see an overexposed image, You can spot those moons. How many can you see? 👁️👁️

As You probably Know This Channel as the 'deep Sky Hunter' is now renamed to ‪@AvanteeshAstro‬ , because i felt deep Sky Hunter wasn't an Appealing Name As per the YouTube Algorithm I have seen So far. I think this new name Shows a Better Context About the channel! New Video coming soon, Hope your all Well! :)

Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF ☄️

The Green Comet AKA, C/2022 E3 ZTF
is a Non periodic comet, meaning it completes an orbit around the sun very rarely. The whole point of this image is not just the pretty picture, But Lot of great information can be obtained too, such as the speed of the comet and its distance. Comets are pretty fast when it comes to speed and quite unpredictable too. They have a highly elliptical orbit. Interestingly this comet wont come back till 50,000 years. so It was last here in the time of ice age!

I'm in such an awe that Just with 2 second exposures, I DID IT!, The comet was on a close conjunction with planet mars which definitely helped

mars at Opposition

Say Hello to mars, Passing by 85 million kms from earth. Now it continues its drift across the sky! Its not often you get a glance of mars. Ones in every 26 months the earth overtakes mars.

Valles Marineris Is The Largest known Canyon in the Solar system. Being 4000 kms long it's Almost long Is The Width of United States 🇺🇲. Interestingly this feature is 7kms Deep and also 200kms wide.
Its a large channel formed by the erosion of lava from volcanic activity from around 1-2 billion years Ago. Just During the Time when Our solar system was Young! How fascinating is That?

Because mars is small, I decided to Crank Up the Power by using my 3x Barlow In conjunction with a 2x. thought It would be at limits of resolution. But I guess it worked really well (except for some shakiness!

Hello celestial sightseers!

The Great Nebula of Orion is back, and as Usual I kept my Focus on the core trapezium cluster. But the spotlight goes the M43 aka the Demarian's nebula.

The 43rd Object in the messier catalog, It was discovered by the French scientist Jean-Jacques Dortous de Mairan sometime before 1731, then catalogued by Charles Messier in 1769. It is physically part of the Orion Nebula (Messier 42), separate from that main nebula by a dense lane of dust known as the northeast dark lane. So, this is a pretty good example of a Dark nebula and and Emison nebula combined. The bright star at the center of M43 is called HD 37061 with a spectral type of B (white-blue star), 1300 light years away from earth. I thought the Orion nebula gets most of its attention so, I'm glad to actually share this! Hope you look out for this object, Clear Skies as Always!
