This is a super nostalgic game for me and over the last few weeks I slowed down on youtube cuz uh- I just really wanted to play the game again bro 😭😭
I havent played in around 12-13 years and now looking at the finished product through the eyes of an adult, the game is an absolute masterpiece.
It's a very story focused JRPG but the story isnt the only thing going for it, the gameplay- specifically the combat and the level up system are genuinely incredible. The turn based combat feels super smooth and being able to swap party members in and out instantly is fantastic. Speaking of the party members having them each fill their role in combat is also great. The sphere grid however is a whole other beast. The sphere grid might be my single favorite level up system in any game ever, it's absolutely incredible.
As for the story itself, it mostly explores themes of religion, love, and death. Its about this star athlete from a city that never sleeps called Zanarkand. He gets isekai'd to another world, Spira and helps a summoner and her guardians to defeat this seemingly omnipresent being called Sin. Im being vague here cuz I dont wanna spoil anything, its a beautiful story that deserves to be told properly.
The game does have flaws like Blitzball as an entire game mode, but for everything the game does wrong it does 20 things right.
All in all for me Final Fantasy X is still just as good on this playthrough as it was in my memories. 10/10
With the holiday season coming up work has decided to throw my entire schedule into disarray, expect maybe only one or 2 more edits for the remainder of the year, the November media video is recorded I just need to find the time to edit it down, and work is underway on some bigger projects as well.

After about 2 or 3 years I finished Honkai Impact 3rd ✅️
Now by this I mean I finished Part 1, to get it out of the way I have no intention on moving to part 1.5 nor part 2 in the immidiate future.
This game meant a lot to me and I'm so happy to say it left off with a bang. Chapter 35 is in no uncertain terms one of the best chapters across HI3 with the likes of 25 and 31 for me.
Kiana Kaslana's journey from start to finish was incredibly moving and she underwent one of the single greatest character arcs across fiction for me.
HI3 is far from a perfect game I have many issues with it and despite that I walk away from it considering it to be a masterpiece.
Jumping from the game to different manga, manwha, anime, visual novels was so cool. Seeing the care and dedication poured into the narrative at large come to life was incredible and I was left in awe now that its all over.
I'll yap about it more in some future videos and expect an HI3 themed edit in the coming weeks.

Before we get into anything else lemme just answer this, do I intend to watch the other seasons?
Yeah probably, but not right now I got other stuff to get through 😭
Lets talk about it though, this was my third attempt to get through it. The first time I gave it 3 episodes, the second time dont even really count cuz I dropped it again after episode 1, but this time I decided to lock in a force my way through the season.
Now having finished season 1, I get why I dropped it twice before. I do think the first few eps are a bit of a slog, that being said, episodes 4-7 were stronger imo.
My favorite character as of now is probably Jesse, its close with him and Walter but they're both significantly above anyone else.
I found Skylar to be a pretty negative prescence throughout, I am empathetic towards her shes in a tough spot with everything going on and that sucks- but shes still so annoying😭😭
Marie I was cool wit til she pulled that stuff towards the end with the tiara, although I did like her scene with the talking pillow interrogation
Hank is also pretty notable and hes just kinda alright I guess, I flip flop with him more than any of the others, sometimes I root for him but most of the time uh- nah
I do also want to briefly bring up Walt Jr. Who is definitely my 3rd fav although hes still way behind the major duo. I found him to be pretty endearing throughout and for as harsh as he is at points I never felt as though he was entirely out of line given his age and everything going on around him
As I talked about with Marie I actually really liked his talking pillow segment
For Walter White the main man on campus, I find him very perplexing. I think we as the audience are meant to like him, but for me it never really clicked. He gives me the feeling that if/when I get around to finishing the series, I'll likely appreciate his character more than like it
Jesse on the otherhand is my favorite right now and is also the character with the most potential in my eyes. He's got a lot of growth ahead of him im sure
All in all, as of only season 1, is Breaking Bad worth the hype?
Flat out, for me- no. The show isnt for everyone nor will everyone get the same level of enjoyment out of shows and thats cool. If nothing else I cant say I regret watching it nor would I go as far as to say I actively disliked watching it, but as of season 1 it was just good. 7.5/10

I scripted the intro for the Top 100 Favorite Fictional Series (2025)
I've gone through and moved series around a lot these past few months but today I think I have the list pretty solid, at least solid enough for me to begin scripting the actual series entries themselves, I actively want this to be a big project I'm hoping to make it my longest video yet.
The video will be just one huge video, I won't be doing parts for it, my target release window is January-March, obviously I'll have a better idea as the time gets closer but I really wanna get this done as a passion project.
A final note is my current priority list, what I want to get done before 2025 is up is...
