Nagashanmugam (born November 28, 1930 – December 31, 2016) was a Tamil philosopher, poet, writer, editor, publisher, playwright and producer. He secured his Tamil Pulavar course from Sen Tamil Sanmarga Sab, Melaisivapuri. He worked as a Tamil lecturer in the same institution before moving to Chennai.
He wrote and co-published a number of books. He was also the Pulavar in Raja Sir M.A.M Muthiah Chettiar’s court.
In 1996, he started to work on the creating Tamil literary content for Shirdi Sai Baba Tamil Deevotes. At that time all the book and Aarathi’s of Baba were only available in Marathi. Being a big devotee himself, he wanted to take on this task to ensure that all tamil devotees of Sai Baba have access to his folklore.
