Costas Haralambopoulos | Κωστας Χαραλαμποπουλος
Costas received his degrees from the School of Philosophy of the University of Athens and the Athens Conservatory of Music. After finishing his schooling, he moved to Thessaloniki, Greece, for two years, where he studied Byzantine chanting. Distinguished for his voice at a very young age, he was appointed as chanter for the Dormition of the Theotokos church in Elioupoli, Athens and later at the Holy Cross church in Egaleo, Athens. He is retired from the Greek foreign service and currently serves as the chanter for Annunciation Cathedral in the Metropolis of San Francisco.
Ο Κώστας Χαραλαμπόπουλος γεννήθηκε στο Άνω Κεράσοβο Μεσολογγίου. Είναι πτυχιούχος της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και του Εθνικού Ωδείου. Υπήρξε μαθητής του μεγάλου Διδασκάλου και Πρωτοψάλτου Δημητρίου Μήτρου,
μαθητού του Άρχοντος Πρωτοψάλτου Κωνσταντίνου Πρίγγου και έχει διδαχθεί το Πατριαρχικό ύφος. Σήμερα είναι συνταξιούχος και έχει εγκατασταθεί στο Σαν Φρανσίσκο Καλιφόρνιας ΗΠΑ.
