Hi, my name is Aida and I am an artist. An artist who takes inspiration from Africa and Black culture. I have tried all different kinds of artistic mediums and customising footwear just so happens to be my favourite :)
Growing up I was a huge sneakerhead, my only issue was that I only really loved my Nike Dunks, Adidas Superstars, Air Max 90s, Air Jordan 3s and old school Huaraches. Then things changed. They didn’t sneakers that I instantly fell in love with anymore. So my passion for kicks kind of just, died down. But then I recently came across sneaker customisation and guys... I am in LOVE AGAIN! Being able to create footwear that I would actually buy is so much fun. Not only that, but people like them too. That’s when Afro Kickz was born. March 2018... the month of my 25th birthday.
