Singer / Musician / Contemporary jazz
SANTA ŠILLERE is a vocalist from Latvia. She's a student at Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music jazz department with a jazz singer Inga Bērziņa as her teacher. As a part of the Erasmus+ exchange program, in 2018 Santa started her studies at Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music (Katowice, Poland) in the class of jazz singer Anna Gadt. She has also participated in many masterclasses and workshops with David Linx (BE), Lisa Popeil (USA), Lenor Helm-Hammond (USA), Helle Henning (DK), Aga Zaryan (PL), Peter Hertman (BE), Lorenz Kellhuber (DE), Bruno Amstad (CH) etc.
Santa has participated in the TV show Koru Kari 3, rock opera Lāčplēsis, as well as festivals Saulkrasti Jazz (LV), Birštonas Jazz Festival (LT), Girls Power in Jazz (DK), Voicingers (PL). Santa is a finalist of International Jazz Artists competition “Riga Jazz Stage 2019”. Santa regulary performs as a soloist in many projects.
