Peace Tribe. I’m Sunyatta Amen, a fifth generation Master Herbalist. I apprenticed for decades at the feet of my Jamaican and Indigenous great grandmothers, revered village healers. I grew up in my parents’ Harlem herb shops, Black Pyramid Herbs and Tree of Life, where remedies were stories, protection and power.
I founded Calabash Tea + Tonic to carry that lineage forward and make wellness welcoming. Fifteen years and four locations later, this channel is where I teach real world remedies, share family recipes and invite you into the apothecary.
