SPACEs In Action

SPACEs In Action (SIA) helps people step into their power through leadership, training, grassroots organizing and by creating safe spaces for people to learn and grow.

SIA supports increasing early childhood learning, health equity and economic justice for Black and Brown communities in the metro Washington DC region. We bring families and partner organizations to the table to have holistic and comprehensive conversations on how to affect real change in our communities. We believe in cultivating relationships, and building a collective vision in our efforts to address inequities in our communities. A new activity that we have begun is to build power through our GOTV efforts as we register people to vote, educate them on issues and follow up to get folks to the polls.
