PHINA burst onto the music scene with style in February 2021 with the release of her first single, “In Love”, and has not slowed down since.
At 26 years of age, Saraphina has now assumed her position as the Melanin Queen of Africa.
Saraphina entered Bongo Star Search in 2018, winning the competition in record style. However, this achievement was totally eclipsed by Saraphina’s double victory as she stole the show at the Tanzania Music Awards in 2022. Taking home Best Female Upcoming Artist and Best Female Entertainer awards, firmly established herself as an elite artist and performer in Tanzania and beyond.
The rise continued in what can only be described as Phina's confirmation as the Melanin Queen when her latest release Upo Nyonyo broke all her streaming records to date.
