Jessa Sky is a Cree singer-songwriter from Treaty 6 Territory, known for emotionally honest songwriting, a commanding live presence, and music rooted in real stories and lived experience. Since launching her career in 2021, she has become one of Canada’s rising Indigenous voices, earning four #1 singles on the Indigenous Music Countdown and the 2024 CBC Searchlight “Honorary Indigenous Artist” award for her single "Anxiety”. In 2025, her song “Grievin” earned a spot on CBC’s Top 100 Canadian Songs.
In 2025, Jessa was one of four artists selected for the CBC × SOCAN Foundation Reverie Indigenous Music Residency, where she created and debuted her single Timelapse at Massey Hall’s Allied Music Centre. Beyond music, she’s a mental health advocate, keynote speaker, and host of ‘Sky Talks’ Podcast.
