Chicken Tales
Family friendly chicken paradise! All about bringing up, caring for, protecting and having fun with chickens.
Inspired by one of our friends, we got a few chicks at the beginning of the pandemic in May 2020 as a distraction from the news all over the world and to have them as a first pet that we heard was lower maintenance than a puppy. Initially the plan was to keep them for the first few weeks inside the house and then give them away to a friend because we did not have a coop. But soon these adorable chicks won our hearts and we just couldn't give them away. We put together a coop for their home and moved them to our backyard.
It has a been a lot of fun to watch them, learn from them and care for them. Each hen has her own personality and it is a treat to observe their individual and group behaviors as well as interact with them. We hope you like the videos and share some of the joy with us and your loved ones.
