Metastatic brain cancer took my ability to walk, 80% of my vision, clear speech, and my life 11 years ago. I was not supposed to make it. My life was forever changed, but I was given a gift. A new life with a new perspective. The treatments, procedures, therapies, and rehabilitation efforts produced a new understanding of what “getting better” is to me. I believe there is a difference between living and truly being alive. I am #aliveandliving. I am more passionate and more proficient in the outdoors than ever before. I want to share my experiences with those that may find benefit from what I have learned. My goal is to help ability diverse people navigate their path to experience #outdoorsforall. To see people of any ability level, get up, get out and conquer the challenge or adventure in front of them. No matter your ability #resolvetoevolve.
