Marici Saxes are a dynamic saxophone quartet from London, UK: four unique musicians brought together through a craving for collective creativity that has led them to establish a firm reputation for excellence. Formed in 2010, their innovative approach to music has seen their popularity rise & resonate with audiences throughout the UK and beyond.
The group has performed internationally in Croatia at the World Saxophone Congress, in Italy by invitation from composer Michael Nyman & an extensive tour of China.
2017 saw the quartet’s much anticipated debut album ‘Light’. Marici were featured in a live performance on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ programme as well as an invitation to the Classic FM studios to film footage for their online library & social media feed.
Their second album ‘Origin’ (released October 2020) is supported by a Help Musicians ‘Do it Differently’ Award.
The Snow (released 2021) celebrates the joy of the Winter Season, huge thanks to Royal Philharmonic Society Award.
